The Association for Radiation Research is a UK-registered charity that was established in 1958 with the objective “to bring together workers of different disciplines, having a common interest in radiobiology, and the allied subjects of radiation chemistry and radiation physics”.
This is still our remit today, with the association having members that work in many areas including radiotherapy research, radiation protection and the nuclear industry.
We welcome anyone who has an interest in furthering the understanding of how radiation affects both biological and inorganic systems. Although we are primarily a UK organisation, we have members in countries across the globe.
If you work in radiation research, then we invite you to join the association and hopefully see you at the next annual meeting.
